So, you can only save files in Boson’s file-format. You can’t Export to MP3 unless you buy the $20 version. That was REALLY annoying but having tried it out i went a head and bought the Pro version. I do pretty simple editing, so i don’t need a bunch of bells and whistles. But i DO need precision graphics.

Unfortunatly the graphics for the sound wave are very subpar. When you zoom in tightly for a close edit the graphics look like they are still rendering. Even after the update. I have a new computer too so i know it’s not me. Other than that the pro version does what i need to.You can get stuff done but. But it’s stil just an upsell for the paid version.

Now as far as I see it has the same features as the full version but you can only export 10 seconds of audio. Which is OK provided you just want to record stuff and not share it with other people. The app can save the whole track in its native data format but if you want to write MP3 or something like that you’ll need to pay for the full version.It’s enough to play around with but nothing in life is free I guess.Powerful, Simple and Intuitive.
