Wednesday -Also did I mention we have a server? Hey guys,I saw this thread:and while reading through the list I saw Aura Kingdom and was reminded that it was one the few 'Anime MMOs' that I really enjoyed the look of back when I watched the review of MMOGrinder when it launched.I never gave the official server a go because I heard that it was massively grindy later on and also pretty P2Win.How is the private server with its 5x XP? Still very grindy or just a bit here and there?.Also, since it takes content from the Taiwanese version (that's what I read at least), what does endgame in Aura Kingdom look like currently? Only dailies and Dungeons or is there also a bit of PVP or even something else?.Lastly, how is the donation stuff in terms of P2win?

I don't mind if it is a bit P2Win (like some WoW private servers for example) and also spending money but if you can buy best in slot gear and steamroll everything I wouldn't enjoy it.Hope someone can help me out here since I like the look of Aura Kingdom and also the amount of classes it has. Maybe some of you even recommend something else similar to Aura Kingdom which could be better? I never really dove into the F2P Korean MMOs (even if AK was made by a chinese company) which were not from 'AAA' devs, so I am pretty much new in that regard and have no idea.Thanks!.

Heya, I've been playing Aura Kingdom on Private somewhat casually for about 3 weeks. The game still has a 'donation' store but pretty much anything can be purchased via loyalty or gold. Its also one of the few Private servers that is ahead of the official servers.

Way to go Aeria. You gain loyalty (used in the shop) by killing boss mobs and doing achievements. My understanding is once you start participating in the raids the loyalty starts pouring in.Gear progression uses a very asian enchant system. You enchant your gear via scrolls which you can get from regular mobs, boss drops and quests. The max was raised to +30 so dont expect to be competitive right away although there are carry raids.Grind wise I didnt notice it until lvl 65, (currently lvl 72) but honestly compared to both Aion, and Black Desert it didnt seem too bad.End game consists of dailys, solo dungeons, reg dungeons which people steamroll and raiding. PVP from what I understand is very unbalanced due to gear and doesn't pop as often as it does on official due to noobs getting stomped and a bit of lag.Aesthetics wise this game is a weeaboo wet dream which deterred me in some ways but the combat (tab target w/ low GCD) is enjoyable. Ill probably continue to play it until Crowfall or CU come out.

The big disclaimer is that I'm not taking my time in Aura Kingdom very seriously. I'd say try it. Hey,thanks a lot for the very fast answer, didn't expect that. I don't mind a bit of grind, I am not a hardcore player who plays huge amounts of hours every day anymore but I also don't want grind 1000 of the same mobs for 1 level. If you didn't notice until 65 (max is 75 if I read correctly) then it should be fine. The thing with PVP is a bit sad but I guess there is nothing you can do, especially on private servers, so I just have to go with it and it's nice that there is actually raid content in it (which I didn't know).I am also just looking for something casually besides doing a bit of ESO every couple of months and I am actually a backer of CU and waiting for it, so it sounds perfect, since the MMO market is basically dry currently and also in the future apart eastern stuff.Guess I picked a bad time to play though. Pocky and rocky 2 snes.

It seems like a big patch hit today and now the client patches extremly slowly - oh well.
